Commercial Information Circular No. 1053/2017

The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Adjustments to Import Tariffs of Certain Consumer Goods by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council

The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council of the People's Republic of China issued on 22 November 2017 a notice concerning adjustments to import tariffs of certain consumer goods, which will take effect on 1 December 2017.  Amongst others, the interim import tariffs for "Milk protein partial hydrolysate formula, milk protein hydrolysis special depth formula, amino acid formula, infant milk powder" (Mainland tariff code 2106 9090), "Napkins and napkin liners for babies and similar articles, of any material" (Mainland tariff code 9619 0011) and "Other napkins and napkin liners and similar articles, of any material" (Mainland tariff code 9619 0019) will be decreased to 0%.  Please refer to the Appendix (pdf format) for the notice (available in Chinese only).
