The General Office of the Dongguan Municipal People's Government issued a notice on 29 June 2016 to promulgate the "Dongguan's Implementation Plan on Facilitating Innovation and Development of Processing Trade to Enhance the Level of Foreign Economic and Trade", which took effect on the date of promulgation until 31 December 2018.
