The Mainland of China : Temporarily Prohibiting the Import of Ivory Carvings from Africa

The State Forestry Administration (SFA) issued a notice on 26 February 2015 to temporarily prohibit the import of ivory carvings obtained after the commencement of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora from Africa, which took effect from the date of issuance of the notice until 26 February 2016. Please refer to the Appendix (pdf format) for the notice.
