The Mainland of China : Supplementary Notice Concerning Cancelling the Bonded Policy on Import of Steel under Processing Trade
The Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration of Taxation jointly issued on 28 August 2014 a "Supplementary Notice Concerning Cancelling the Bonded Policy on Import of Steel under Processing Trade". The transitional period for the cancellation of the bonded policy on import of the first batch of steel under 78 tariff codes under processing trade in the "Notice Concerning Cancelling the Bonded Policy on Import of Steel under Processing Trade" would be extended, i.e. the tariff and import value-added tax on the abovementioned steel under 78 tariff codes under processing trade would be levied starting from 1 January 2015. A copy of the supplementary notice (available in Chinese only) is at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
