Commercial Information Circular No. 305/2012

The Mainland of China : The Decision on the Amendments to the Implementation of Provisions of Rules of Origin for Trade in Goods under the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China 

The General Administration of Customs issued a notice on "the Decision on the Amendments to the Implementation of Provisions of Rules of Origin for Trade in Goods under the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China", which took effect on 1 April 2012. For details, please refer to a copy of the notice (available in Chinese only) at Appendix (pdf format).

2.For details of the requirements for including the value of raw materials and component parts of Mainland origin in the "value-added content" origin rule under CEPA, please refer to CIC No. 218/2012 dated 19 March 2012.
