The Mainland of China : Review of Anti-dumping Measure against Imports of Polyurethane (Spandex) from Japan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, the Taiwan Province and the United States

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 58/2011 on 13 October 2011, announcing the initiation of review of anti-dumping measures against imports of polyurethane (spandex) from Japan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, the Taiwan Province and the United States. The relevant tariff codes are 5402 4410, 5402 4900 and 5402 6920, and the code for the products under 5402 4900 is 5402 490001.

DETAILS

2. For anti-dumping investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports to participate in the defence of anti-dumping within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 13 October 2011). In the application, interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland and other markets during 1 July 2010 - 30 June 2011. For industry injury investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement. In the application, interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level and details of any expansion plans during 1 January 2006 - 30 June 2011. 3. During the review period, anti-dumping duties on imports of polyurethane (spandex) from Japan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, the Taiwan Province and the United States continue to apply.
