Commercial Information Circular No. 353/2011

The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Reduction and Exemption of Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Fees for Exports of Agricultural Products and Textiles and Clothing Products

The Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission have jointly issued a notice announcing that from 1 January 2011, the reduction and exemption of entry-exit inspection and quarantine fees for exports of certain agricultural products will continue to be implemented, and the entry-exit inspection and quarantine fees for exports of certain textiles and clothing products will be collected at 70% of the current standard rate. The reduction of entry-exit inspection and quarantine fees for exports of certain textiles and clothing products will be implemented until 30 June 2011. A copy of the notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.

2.For details of the "Notice Concerning Reduction and Exemption of Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Fees for Exports of Agricultural Products and Textile and Clothing Products" implemented in 2009 and 2010, please refer to CIC No. 261/2009 dated 18 May 2009 and CIC No. 212/2010 dated 14 May 2010.
