Commercial Information Circular No. 302/2011

The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Implementation of Export Quota Licensing Administration on Ferro-Alloy Containing Rare Earth

The Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs announced on 16 May 2011 the implementation of export quota licensing administration on ferro-alloy containing by weight more than 10% of rare earth elements (customs commodity code: 7202999100) with effect from 20 May 2011. A copy of the relevant notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.

2.For details of the "Measures on the Administration of Commodity Export Licences" and "2011 Catalogue of Commodities Subject to Export Licensing Administration", please refer to CIC Nos. 329/2008 and 632/2010 dated 13 June 2008 and 31 December 2010 respectively.
