The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 17/2011 on 21 April 2011, announcing the final ruling on anti-dumping investigation against imports of dispersion unshifted single-mode optical fiber from the United States and the European Union. The relevant tariff code is 9001 1000.

DETAILS

2.The final ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding imports of dispersion unshifted single-mode optical fiber from the United States and the European Union, and that such dumping had caused threat of material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 4.7% to 29.1% on imports of dispersion unshifted single-mode optical fiber from the United States and the European Union. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 22 April 2011.
