Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular
No.25/2010
The Mainland of China :
Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures against Imports of Hydrazine Hydrate from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and France
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 1/2010 on 8 January 2010, announcing the impending expiry of anti-dumping measures against imports of hydrazine hydrate from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and France. The relevant tariff code is 2825 1010.
DETAILS
-
According to the "Regulation on Anti-dumping", the duration of levying anti-dumping duty can be suitably extended if a review confirms that the removal of duty would likely cause the continuance or recurrence of injury to the domestic industries. As such, from the date of announcement (i.e. 8 January 2010) and no later than 60 days before the expiry of the anti-dumping measures, domestic enterprises or their representatives may submit applications to the MOC to request a review. The applications should include evidence that injury would be likely to continue or recur if the duty is removed.
-
If no application for a review is submitted in accordance with the notice nor the MOC considers warrant initiating a review before the expiry date of the anti-dumping measures, the anti-dumping measures against imports of hydrazine hydrate from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and France will be terminated on 17 June 2010.
-
For details of the final ruling of the subject anti-dumping cases, please refer to CIC No. 313/2003 dated 23 December 2003 and CIC No. 215/2005 dated 20 June 2005.
