India : Prohibition of Import of Toys from the Mainland of China for six months
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade of India has recently announced that import of toys from the Mainland of China is prohibited for six months with immediate effect.

In the notification dated 23 January 2009, India announced that import of toys from the Mainland of China under India's Customs Classification numbers 9501, 9502 and 9503 of Schedule – I of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items is prohibited for six months with immediate effect and until further orders.
