Commercial Information Circular No.385/2009

The Mainland of China : Adjusting the Catalogues for Waste Import Administration

The Ministry of the Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Administration of Customs, and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine jointly promulgated on 3 July 2009 the adjustment of the "Catalogue of Prohibited Solid Waste Import", the "Catalogue of Restricted Solid Waste Import Usable as Raw Materials" and the "Catalogue of Solid Waste Import Usable as Raw Materials under Automatic Import Licensing Administration", which will take effect from 1 August 2009. A copy of the relevant notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format).
