The Mainland of China :
Export Licensing Documents for Exports of Textile Products in 2009
The Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province has recently issued a notice to clarify the export licensing documentation requirements for exports of textile products in 2009 as announced in relevant notice issued by the Quota and Licence Administrative Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce. According to the notice, eligibility administration for enterprises exporting the eight categories of textile products to the EU under surveillance measures will be abolished and both Chinese and English export licences to the EU will no longer be issued; the various types of licensing documents for exports of textile products to the US will no longer be issued; with regard to textiles export to the EU, only certificates of origin, OPT certificates of origin and certain specific certificates will be issued, etc. A copy of the notice is attached at
