The
Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on Geographical Symbols for
Agricultural Products
The Ministry of Agriculture
promulgated the "Administrative Measures on Geographical Symbols
for Agricultural Products" on 25 December 2007, which will take effect
from 1 February 2008. The Measures govern the application criteria, registration
procedures, rights and obligations of the users of geographical symbols
for agricultural products. A copy of the Measures is attached at Annex
(pdf format) for reference.
