The
Mainland of China : Decision on Expediting the Development of a Modern
Industrial System by the People's Government of Guangdong Province
The People's Government
of Guangdong Province recently announced the "Decision on Expediting
the Development of a Modern Industrial System". Among which, the
Decision sets out the goals of developing six major industries with modern
service industries and advance manufacturing industries as the core, constructing
eight major infrastructures including "core zone for modern industries
in the Pearl River Delta", "industrial relocation parks in the
eastern, western and mountainous region" and "national demonstration
zones for transformation and upgrade of processing trade", and establishing
development fund for modern industries. A copy of the "Decision"
is attached at Annex
