The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Accomplishing the Task of On-site
Transformation of Enterprises of Processing Material Supplied by Clients to
Foreign Invested Enterprises without Stopping Production
Six Bureaus including the Dongguan Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and Huangpu Customs, issued on 23 June 2008 the "Notice Concerning Accomplishing the Task of On-site Transformation of Enterprises of Processing Material Supplied by Clients to Foreign Invested Enterprises without Stopping Production". The Notice announced the issuance of the relevant operation procedures/guidelines and facilitating measures. The Notice also stated that the Service Centre for Transformation and Upgrade of Processing Trade Enterprises of Dongguan provides "One-stop" licensing services for enterprises applying for transformation. A copy of the notice and the operation procedures/guidelines are attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
