The Mainland of China : Guidance Notes for Customs on Procedures of
On-site Transformation for Outward Processing Trade Enterprises (Trial)
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Economic Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) learned that Guangdong Sub-Administration of China Customs has implemented the guidance notes for customs on procedures of on-site transformation for outward processing trade enterprises (trial) to facilitate on-site transformation for outward processing trade enterprises. The guidance notes was reported on the latest GDETO Newsletter at: http://www.gdeto.gov.hk/chi/letter/docs/080418.doc (Chinese version only).

According to the GDETO Newsletter, the guidance notes sets out procedures of on-site transformation for outward processing trade enterprises, including arrangement for non-priced equipments, arrangement for bonded materials, transfer of equipments, and procedures of lifting Customs supervision on equipments in advance.
