The
Mainland of China : Ruling of the Mid-term Review on Anti-dumping Measures against imports of Monoethanolamine and Diethanolamine from and Japan and the Taiwan Province
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 3/2008 on 31 January 2008, announcing the ruling of the mid-term review on the anti-dumping measures against imports of monoethanolamine and diethanolamine from Oriental Union Chemical Corporation of Taiwan and NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO.,LTD. of Japan. The relevant tariff listings of the General Administration of Customs are 2922 1100 and 2922 1200.
DETAILS
- According to the ruling, the margin of dumping on imports of monoethanolamine and diethanolamine from Oriental Union Chemical Corporation of Taiwan was found to be 5.3% and that from NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO.,LTD. of Japan was found to be 7.3%. With effect from 1 February 2008, the rate of anti-dumping duties on imports of monoethanolamine and diethanolamine from the above two companies would be adjusted to 5.3% and 7.3% respectively.
