The Mainland of China : Mid-term Review of Anti-dumping Measures against Imports of Monoethanolamine and Diethanolamine from Japan and the Taiwan Province

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 7/2007 on 1 February 2007, announcing the mid-term review of the anti-dumping measures against imports of monoethanolamine and diethanolamine from the Oriental Union Chemical Corporation of Taiwan and the NIPPON SHOKUBAI Co., Ltd. of Japan. The relevant tariff codes of the General Administration of Customs are 2922 1100 and 2922 1200, but monoethanolamine salts and diethanolamine salts under the two codes are not included.

  1. The investigation period of this mid-term review is 1 January 2006 - 31 December 2006, and the scope of investigation is the anti-dumping duty rate applicable to the products under investigation that are manufactured by the Oriental Union Chemical Corporation of Taiwan and the NIPPON SHOKUBAI Co., Ltd. of Japan. Interested parties may submit written comments, with relevant evidence, to the Ministry of Commerce within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 1 February 2007).
