The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Strengthening Market
Supervision and Maintaining Market Transaction Order
The State Administration for Industry and Commerce issued a notice concerning strengthening market supervision and maintaining market transaction order on 23 November 2007. It requires relevant departments to strengthen the market supervision and administrative guidance on sales promotion activities for important consumer products such as processed oil and edible oil. It also requires the relevant departments to strictly implement the various administrative measures on regularization of product quality and food safety.
