The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports
of Methyl Ethyl Ketone (C4H8O) from Japan, the Taiwan Province and Singapore

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 81/2007 on 21 November 2007, announcing the final ruling on anti-dumping investigation against imports of methyl ethyl ketone (C4H8O) from Japan, the Taiwan Province and Singapore. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2914 1200.

ANTI-DUMPING MEASURE

  1. The final ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding the investigated products originated in Japan, the Taiwan province and Singapore, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 9.6% to 66.4% on imports of methyl ethyl ketone (C4H8O) from the above regions. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 22 November 2007. For details, please make reference to the notice issued by the MOC at:
