The Mainland of China : Strengthening the Supervision on Export Enterprises
Regarding Environmental Protection
The Ministry of Commerce and the State Environmental Protection Administration jointly issued a notice (at Annex (pdf format) ) on 8 October 2007 concerning the strengthening of the supervision on export enterprises regarding environmental protection. The notice stipulates that enterprises may be debarred from submitting applications concerning export activities if they fail to meet the environmental standards set out in various laws, rules and regulations.
