The Mainland of China : Inspection and Monitoring of Toy Exports
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) issued a notice concerning the strengthening of inspection, monitoring and quality control of toy exports on 10 August 2007. From that day onwards, all offices directly under AQSIQ are required to adjust and improve the registration system for approved quality standards of toy exports, and to strengthen the respective inspection and monitoring work. A copy of the notice is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.

In addition, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China recently promulgated the "Implementation Details of Approved Quality Standards (Registration) for Toy Exports (Trial)" and "Examination Requirements for Approved Quality Standards (Registration) for Manufacturers of Toy Exports (Trial)". These documents can be downloaded from the website of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China at:
