The Mainland of China : Catalogue of Restricted Products for Processing Trade
The Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs jointly issued a notice on 23 July 2007 announcing the "Catalogue of Restricted Products for Processing Trade", which will take effect from 23 August 2007. According to the notice, "actual" payment of customs duty deposit system will be implemented for processing trade of restricted products. The notice also sets out the formula on the calculation of customs duty deposit for various categories of enterprises and the relevant transitional arrangements.
