The Mainland of China : Law on Labour Contract
The Tenth Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed the "Law on Labour Contract" on 29 June 2007, which will take effect from 1 January 2008. The Law govern the principles of establishing labour contracts, the content of labour contracts, the responsibilities of employers and employees, as well as certain specific issues like collective contracts and non-full time employment. A copy of the Law is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
