The
Mainland of China : Measures on the Assessment and Protection of
Brand Names in Commercial Fields (Trial)
The Ministry of Commerce
promulgated the "Measures on the Assessment and Protection of Brand
Names in Commercial Fields (Trial)" on 8 January 2007, which took
effect from the day of promulgation. The Measures set out the application
criteria and procedures, assessment, protection and administration of
brand names in commercial fields. A copy of the Measures is attached at
Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
