The Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on the Registration of Commercial
Franchise and Administrative Measures on the Release of Information about
Commercial Franchise
According to the requirements set out in the Regulations on Commercial Franchising Operations, the Ministry of Commerce issued on 1 May 2007 the Administrative Measures on the Registration of Commercial Franchise and the Administrative Measures on the Release of Information about Commercial Franchise. The Administrative Measures on the Registration of Commercial Franchise set out the specific requirements on the registration of commercial franchise, including the registration materials, the ways of registration and the supervision on registration. Whereas the Administrative Measures on the Release of Information about Commercial Franchise set out the responsible agents, the principle contents and methods with regard to releasing information about commercial franchise. Full texts of the two measures are attached at Annexes 1 and 2 (pdf format) respectively for reference.
