The Mainland of China : Regulations on Access to Governmental Information
The State Council of the People's Republic of China issued Decree No. 492 on 5 April 2007, promulgating the "Regulations on Access to Governmental Information". The Regulations, which will take effect from 1 May 2008, set out the scope of governmental information that can be accessed by the public, the procedures and the ways of granting such access and publicizing related information. A copy of Regulations is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
