Commercial Information Circular No. 17/2007

The Mainland of China : Orderly Export of Motor Vehicles

The Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Administration of Customs, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Certification and Accreditation Administration jointly issued a notice concerning the orderly export of motor vehicles on 31 December 2006. The notice stipulates that products of a whole vehicle will be subject to export licensing administration. It also sets out the criteria and procedures for the application of such export licenses. A copy of the notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
