The Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products
The Ministry of Information Industry, the State Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the State Environmental Protection Administration jointly promulgated on 28 February 2006 the "Administrative Measures on the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products", which will take effect on 1 March 2007. The Measures govern the administration of control of pollution caused by electronic information products but is not applicable to the manufacture of relevant products for export. A copy of the Measures is at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
