The Mainland of China : Anti-dumping Investigation against Imports of Potato Starch
from the European Union
The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 4/2006 on 6 February 2006, announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against imports of potato starch from the European Union. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 1108 1300.
- Interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports and the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation of the Ministry of Commerce to participate in the defence of anti-dumping and industry injury investigation respectively within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 6 February 2006). In the applications to the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports, the interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during the period 1 January 2005 - 31 December 2005. In the applications to the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation, the interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level, quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland, as well as the details of any expansion plans during the period 1 January 2002 - 31 December 2005.
