The Mainland of China :
Measures for Administration of Fair Transactions between Retailers and Suppliers
The Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration of Taxation and the State Administration for Trade and Industry have jointly promulgated the "Measures for Administration of Fair Transactions between Retailers and Suppliers". In the "Measures", retailers refer to enterprises and their subsidiaries which sell goods directly to consumers and have an annual sales of over RMB 10 million. Suppliers refer to enterprises and their subsidiaries, and individually owned stores which provide goods and services directly to retailers. Suppliers include manufacturers, distributors and other agents. The "Measures" will be effective from 15 November 2006. Full text of the "Measures" is attached at
