Dear Sirs,
Commercial
Information Circular No. 211/2006
The
Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Simplification of Application Procedures
for Transfer of Provisional Quantitative Limits of Textile Exports
The Ministry of Commerce
(MOC) issued a notice on 26 May 2006, announcing the launch of a platform
for application of transfer of provisional quantitative limits of textile
exports on 1 June 2006.
- With effect from
1 June 2006, the MOC will not process applications on cross-region transfer
of provisional quantitative limits of textile exports filed by local
commerce departments. Instead, enterprises can process cross-region

exports through the platform. The relevant operating procedures for
the platform will be announced in a separate notice. Meanwhile, the
procedures for transfer of provisional quantitative limits of textile
exports under the bidding exercise will not be affected.
- A copy of the
notice is attached at Annex (pdf
format) for reference. The notice concerning the cross-region transfer
of quantitative limits for textile exports issued by the Ministry of
Commerce as set out in our CIC No. 18/2006 will cease to be implemented
