The
Mainland of China : Reply Concerning the Processing of Tax Exemption Confirmation
Letter for Foreign-invested Enterprises Under the Encouraged Categories
The Ministry of Commerce
issued a reply to local commerce departments concerning the processing
of tax exemption confirmation letter for foreign-invested enterprises
under the encouraged categories on 6 April 2006. Among others, it stipulates
that the Mainland government has made no adjustment on the existing rules
and measures regarding the "Confirmation Letter for Encouraged Foreign
and Domestic Projects" and "Import Certification for Equipment,
Technology and Components by Foreign-invested Enterprises". A copy
of the document is attached at Annex
(pdf format) for reference.
