Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 140/2006

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 18/2006 on 8 April 2006, announcing the ruling of the review on the anti-dumping measures against imports of cold-rolled stainless steel sheet from Japan and the Republic of Korea. The relevant tariff codes of the General Administration of Customs are 7219 3100, 7219 3200, 7219 3300, 7219 3400, 7219 3500, 7219 9000, 7220 2010 and 7220 2090.
DETAILS
- The review confirmed that dumping and injury regarding the investigated products from Japan and the Republic of Korea would be likely to continue or recur if the anti-dumping duties were removed. According to the "Regulations on Anti-dumping", the Mainland has decided to continue the imposition of anti-dumping duties, ranging from 17% to 58%, on imports of cold-rolled stainless steel sheet from Japan and the Republic of Korea for a period of 5 years from 8 April 2005.
- For details of the final ruling of the anti-dumping investigation and the initiation of the review, please refer to our CIC No. 16/01 dated 15 January 2001 and CIC No. 124/2005 dated 11 April 2006 respectively.
