The
Mainland of China : Notice Concerning the Implementation of Automatic
Import Licensing Administration on Iron Ore
The Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs announced
that iron ore would be subject to automatic import licensing administration
with effect from 1 March 2005. The relevant notice is attached at Annex
for reference.

the "Measures on the Administration of Products Subject to Automatic
Import Licensing" and "Catalogue of Commodities Subject to
Import and Export Licensing Administration and the Respective Approving
Authorities in 2005", please refer to our CIC Nos. 15/2005 and
17/2005 dated 7 January 2005.
