Commercial Information Circular No. 528/2005

The Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on the Importation of Herbal Medicine (Trial)

The State Food and Drug Administration promulgated the "Administrative Measures on the Importation of Herbal Medicine (Trial)" on 24 November 2005, which will take effect from 1 February 2006. The Measures govern the application, approval, inspection, supervision and administration of herbal medicine import. A copy of the Measures is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference. Its annexes can be downloaded from the website of the State Food and Drug Administration at:
