The Mainland of China : Interim Measures on the Administration of Processing
Trade in Export Processing Zones

The Ministry of Commerce promulgated the "Interim Measures on the Administration of Processing Trade in Export Processing Zones" on 22 November 2005, which will take effect from 1 January 2006. The Measures govern the administration of processing trade operation in export processing zones, entry and exit of goods to/from the zones, and transfer of goods outside the zones for further processing. A copy of the Measures is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference. Its annexes can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Commerce at:
