The
Mainland of China : Regulations on Openness in Public Affairs of
Guangdong Province
The Standing Committee of the 10th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress
passed the "Regulations on Openness in Public Affairs of Guangdong
Province" on 29 July 2005, which will take effect from 1 October
2005. The Regulations set out 23 issues that should be revealed to the
public and 4 issues that should not be revealed. It also sets out the
ways the issues to be revealed. A copy of the Regulations is attached
at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
