Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 18/2005
The Mainland of China : Preliminary Finding of Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Trichloroethylene (C2HCl3) from Russia and Japan
The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 101/2004 on 7 January 2005, announcing the preliminary finding of the anti-dumping investigation against imports of trichloroethylene (C2HCl3) from Russia and Japan. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2903 2200.
PRELIMINARY FINDING
-
The preliminary finding revealed that dumping existed regarding the investigated products originated in Russia and Japan, with dumping margin ranged from 5% to 159%. It was found that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry and that causal link existed. With effect from 7 January 2005, importers have to provide deposit according to the margin of dumping as guarantee to the General Administration of Customs during importation of the products concerned.
-
Interested parties may submit written representation and supporting evidence to the Ministry of Commerce within 20 days from the date of announcement (i.e. 7 January 2005) for their consideration.
-
For details of the initiation of the subject anti-dumping investigation, please refer to our CIC No. 98/2004 dated 19 April 2004.
