The Mainland of China : Rules on the Administration of Insurance Brokerage

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) promulgated the "Rules on the Administration of Insurance Brokerage" on 15 December 2004, which will come into force on 1 January 2005. The Rules govern the setting-up of insurance brokerages and the administration of a qualification system for insurance brokers, etc. A copy of the Rules is attached at Annex (pdf format), and the relevant forms can be downloaded at CIRC's website at http://www.circ.gov.cn/policy/list_detail.asp?Auto_ID=241 (available in Chinese only).
