The Mainland of China : Anti-dumping Investigation against Imports of Epichlorohydrin from Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan and the United States

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 91/2004 on 28 December 2004, announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against imports of epichlorohydrin from Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan and the United States. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2910 3000.

  1. Interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports and the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation of the Ministry of Commerce to participate in the defence of anti-dumping and industry injury investigation respectively within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 28 December 2004). In the applications to the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports, the interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during the period 1 July 2003 - 30 June 2004. In the applications to the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation, the interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level, quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland, as well as the details of any expansion plans during the period 1 January 2000 - 30 June 2004.
