The Mainland of China : Mid-term Review of Anti-dumping Measures against Imports of Catechol (C6H6O2)from the European Union

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 79/2004 on 10 December 2004, announcing the mid-term review of the anti-dumping measures against imports of catechol (C6H6O2) from the European Union. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2907 2910.

  1. The investigation period of this mid-term review is 1 September 2003 - 31 August 2004, and the scope of investigation is the anti-dumping duty applicable to the manufacturers or exporters of catechol in the European Union. Interested parties may approach the Ministry of Commerce to participate in the defence of the mid-term review investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 10 December 2004), and submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during the period 1 September 2003 - 31 August 2004. Interested parties may also submit written comments, with relevant evidence, to the Ministry of Commerce within 20 days from the date of announcement.
