The Mainland of China :Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Phenol (C₆H₅OH) from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and the Taiwan Province

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 2/2004 on 1 February 2004, announcing the final ruling on anti-dumping investigation against imports of phenol (C₆H₅OH) from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and the Taiwan Province. The relevant tariff listing of the General Administration of Customs is 2907 1110.

2. The ruling confirmed that dumping existed regarding the investigated products and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties, range from 3% to 144% on imports of phenol from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and the Taiwan Province. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 1 February 2004.
