The Mainland of China : Regulations on Payment of Wages in Shenzhen
The Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress passed the "Regulations on Payment of Wages in Shenzhen" on 24 September 2004, which will take effect from 1 December 2004. The Regulations set out the definition of wages, the general rules governing the payment of wages, the standard of payment for employees who have worked outside normal office hours, on rest days or on holidays, etc. A copy of the Regulations is attached at Annex(pdf format) for reference.
