Commercial Information Circular No. 197/2004

The Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on Group Finance Companies

The China Banking Regulatory Commission promulgated the "Administrative Measures on Group Finance Companies" on 27 July 2004, which will come into force on 1 September 2004. The Measures set out the conditions of setting up group finance companies, the scope of business activities, the regulatory requirements, and the risk control aspect, etc.. A copy of the Measures is attached at Annex for reference.
