Commercial Information Circular No. 185/2004

The Mainland of China :Notice on Strengthening the Administration of Labour Contract

The Guangdong Provincial Labour and Social Security Department (GDLSS) promulgated the "Notice on Strengthening the Administration of Labour Contract" on 6 July 2004. The Notice demands the employing units to sign labour contracts with the employees in accordance with the Law. It also sets out a sample of the labour contract for use in the Guangdong Province. A copy of the Notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference. The annex of which can be downloaded at the GDLSS's website at http://www.gd.lss.gov.cn/gb/molss/zwgk/bszn.htm (available in Chinese only).
