The Mainland of China: Implementation Details of the Registration Scheme 
Concerning Overseas Suppliers of Waste Material Imports

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) promulgated, with immediate effect, the "Implementation Details of the Registration Scheme Concerning Overseas Suppliers of Waste Material Imports" on 8 May 2004. The Implementation Details set out the requirements for registration of overseas suppliers of waste material imports, the application procedures, the assessment criteria, as well as the monitoring mechanism. A copy of the Implementation Details is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
