New Zealand :Revised Import Health Standard for Sea Containers
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of (MAF) of New Zealand is planning to adopt new biosecurity conditions for the importation and clearance of sea containers into New Zealand.
DETAILS

The revised standard aims at the effective management of biosecurity risks associated with the importation of sea containers and packaging of containerized cargoes into New Zealand. Outlines of the revised standard are as follows:

Revised Requirements |
New documentation and inspection requirements will be introduced. Details are stipulated in a draft paper of import health standard. The paper and relevant notification to the World Trade Organization are available at MAF's website below:
