Commercial Information Circular No. 48/01

The Mainland of China : Management Measures on Import and
Export of Products Destroying the Ozonesphere

Further to the notice issued by the Mainland authorities concerning the new management measures on import and export of products destroying the ozonesphere (see my Commercial Information Circulars No. 4/00 of 12 January 2000 and No.27/00 of 25 February 2000), the Mainland authorities issued the attached catalogue on 18 January 2001 concerning the second batch of substances subject to the control on ozone-depleting substances.

  1. The effective date of the control as set out in the catalogue is 1 February 2001.
